How it began

Mood & Pattern began with a simple belief: that in our homes, the smallest details — such as a cushion on the sofa — can matter just as much as a sofa or dining table.

When founder Kadi moved into her first home, she wanted to create a space that felt considered, personal, and lived-in. While sourcing furniture was straightforward, finding the right cushions proved unexpectedly difficult. Mass-produced options lacked quality, character, and flexibility in size, while custom-made alternatives were often expensive and time-consuming.

This experience became the starting point for Mood & Pattern.
