Our story
Mood & Pattern began with a belief that in our homes, the smallest details — such as a beautiful cushion on the sofa— can be as important as a sofa or dining table. Mood & Pattern’s founder, Kadi, passionately believes that living with more beauty is living with more joy.
With a lifelong passion for interiors and after moving into her first real home, Kadi was determined to create a space that felt both laidback and luxurious, filled with unique pieces that tell a story. But when it came to adding the final touches with cushions, she kept running into the same issues with mass-produced options: uninspired designs, cheap-looking fabrics, and limited sizes. What should have been an easy and fun task became the hardest part to get right.
Eventually, Kadi realised that to achieve the quality and look she envisioned, she’d need to have the covers custom-made. While she loved the result — from the fabric quality to the unique designs — the process ended up being confusing, with long waits and high fees for minimum orders. That’s when Kadi decided to transition from her career in tech to the world of textiles and founded Mood & Pattern.

Each fabric used in our cushion covers is carefully chosen for its quality, natural texture, and timeless beauty — ensuring every piece feels distinctive and enduring.
Handcrafted in Estonia
Each cushion cover is handmade in our Estonian studio by skilled seamstresses with over 40 years of experience. Every detail is crafted with care to ensure exceptional quality.
